Overview
This was my first robotic arm — started with no experience in electronics and minimal experience in CAD. Everything was built from scratch, through a lot of iterations and failures, until it worked.
Build
The arm was modeled in Onshape and printed on a Bambu Lab printer. An Arduino running C++ drives servo and stepper motors through motor drivers, with joysticks and buttons for control.
Result
A working arm, a foundation in electronics and embedded C++, and the design experience that made Robot Arm 2.0 possible.
